Hi, I’m Massimiliano (Max) Albanese — technology enthusiast, computer scientist, and educator.
What is this website about?
I taught myself computer programming at 15, back when a PC with a 12 MHz processor was considered powerful and a 40 MB hard drive felt limitless. Three decades later, I created this website as a digital museum—a place to collect and share pieces of my journey from a small-town high school in Southern Italy to a tenured faculty position at a nationally ranked U.S. university. I’ll continue adding code, projects, and other digital artifacts as I recover them from old drives or create new ones. Stay tuned!
